Wear Test Program
Help us build the future of performance apparel. The 776BC Test Crew is a group of athletes who test, challenge and help shape what we build next. Applications are open. We’re currently selecting athletes for the next intake.
Origin
Founded in 2013 by two-time Olympian and Beijing silver medalist Cameron McKenzie-McHarg, 776BC creates technical performance apparel developed and tested by athletes.
Every product is forged through thousands of hours of testing, training, and athlete feedback- because performance isn't guessed. It's proven.
The Test Crew puts that philosophy into action, giving the athletes who push gear to its limits, the power to shape what's next.

The Process
Access new products and prototypes, test them in training and racing, and share your feedback with the 776BC founders and product team.
From fit, comfort, durability and the details that matter most, the athlete sits at the centre of every decision. This is where real training meets product development.

You don't need to be a professional athlete. You need a professional approach. Complete the short application (2-3 mins) and tell us about yourself. If you’re a good fit, we’ll invite you to the next stage, a more detailed form (around 10-15 mins) where you can share your passion for product feedback.
We review every application and take a small group each intake. We're after athletes who train seriously and notice the details.
Get access to new products, prototypes and innovations before wider release.
Put products through real training and racing. The early mornings, your hardest ergs, the sessions that hurt. Gear only proves itself in the conditions it was built for.
Put the kit through its paces, then tell us what worked and what didn't. The fit, the fabric, the details you'd change. Film a bit while you're at it, a few clips from real training or a quick review to camera, so we can see it working where it counts. It all goes straight to the 776BC founders and product team.
Help shape the next generation of performance apparel.
We’re not looking for athletes who tell us the product’s great. We want the ones who challenge us. Who notice the details. Who ask the hard questions. Who believe every product can be better.
We know the best gear comes from listening to the athletes who know it best.
Past Cycles
Apply
Applications are open year-round. We review per product cycle and contact you when there's a match.
No spam. No commitment until you're selected and say yes.
Questions
Any athlete can apply. You don’t need to be elite or professional, you need a serious approach. We take athletes at different levels who train consistently and pay attention to the details. You’ll need to be 18 or over and based in Australia, New Zealand, the US or the UK. Applications are open year-round and reviewed monthly.
We select across disciplines, training conditions, locations and weekly volume, so feedback covers every condition the gear has to hold up to. Each intake is small and selected by hand.
Yes. Test Crew members keep their kit at no cost, and there's no payment either way. What we ask is honest feedback, a debrief at the end of the cycle, and some footage from real training.
No. Ambassadors promote the brand publicly. Test Crew members critique pre-production kit and report back to the product team. You're never required to post anything, though you're welcome to once we've confirmed a product is public. We do use the footage and feedback you send us in our own channels, and you're agreeing to that when you accept a place.
The 776BC Test Crew asks for a minimum of four weeks of regular training use per cycle, plus a debrief at the end. Membership runs per intake rather than as an ongoing commitment, so you're signing up for one cycle at a time. Testers who stay engaged are invited back for the next one. While you're holding pre-release kit and for three months after your cycle closes, we also ask that you're not testing for another performance apparel brand at the same time.
Yes. When you're offered a place there's a short agreement to accept, covering confidentiality on unreleased product, permission for us to use the footage you send, and a note about not testing for competing brands during your cycle. It's one page, plain English, and you can read it before you say yes.
Wear it wherever you train, that's what it's for. Just keep it off social until we tell you a product is public. Same goes for detail on fabrics, pricing or launch dates. We'll let you know when it goes live, and we'll usually ask you to share then.
You’ll stay in our pool and be considered for future intakes. No need to reapply.
